The Weiner Election

Or maybe it's Wiener.  Looks like the democrat lost because he supported the building of a mosque, so the Jewish community, normally democratic, turned on him and voted for the republican.  I hope it's at least a moderate republican.  I don't think it's all that bad for a moderate being elected in a district or state that usually goes for the opposing party.  I think that Scott Brown from Massachusetts is ok, even though the democrats treated it as a tragedy when he won Ted K's seat.
